It’s time to pick up the pieces - the pieces that don’t belong on the desert floor. That’s why we are initiating a new citizen science project called Desert Pick It Up Artists. The scraps, strips, and stuff that litter the desert floor are harmful to all living things. We can change that by practicing the Four R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Responsibility. Pick up trash, let us know what you picked up, then turn those pieces into a work of art that tells the story of waste. Share your art online or with friends and family.
