go green and get fierce in our student art contest

S.C.R.A.P. Gallery is pleased to announce the launch of the Green Hero Student Art Contest, a community-wide initiative held in conjunction with its current exhibit, On The Eve Of,  which features pioneering female environmentalists. The contest invites students to explore environmental advocacy through two creative paths: coloring portraits of legendary figures such as Jane Goodall and Wangari Maathai, or designing original advocacy posters for a sustainable future.

The competition is open to students in all grades. Submissions are being accepted now through June 4, 2026. All entries will be showcased on social media and at S.C.R.A.P. Gallery, with top winners awarded eco-friendly gift baskets.
