Without recycling, we add unneeded pressure to our environment -- from our forests, to our deserts and to our oceans, by extracting more and more resources. These environmental issues are discussed by adults yet nearly ignored in our school systems.
Enter the Student Creative Recycle Art Program (S.C.R.A.P. Gallery). S.C.R.A.P. Gallery’s unique approach to help solve environmental problems teaches children to be creative while building science, technology, engineering, art and math skills(S.T.E.A.M.). Through personal recycling habits children learn to take care of the planet.
