The S.C.R.A.P. Gallery is a unique environmental art museum and engaging mobile program that delivers art and environmental education to children throughout the Coachella Valley. By using donated discarded materials, students of all ages learn about conservation, reuse and other environmental issues through hands-on exploration.

The essence of what the S.C.R.A.P. Gallery does is captured in the Four R’s - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Responsibility.

THE FACILITY:

S.C.R.A.P. Gallery is the only children’s art and environmental conservation museum in the eastern Coachella Valley, and the only one of its kind in Riverside County, CA. The facility allows for creative expression and education to take place.

Children create art on-site by using donated discarded materials while at the same time learning about complex environmental issues, arts, culture, science and much more. The gallery exhibits works of art by renown artists alongside those of S.C.R.A.P. Gallery youth, and houses both permanent and temporary interactive exhibits on issues like GMOs, renewable energy, water scarcity and climate change. Field trips for K-12 students take place throughout the week. The S.C.R.A.P. Gallery serves as a resource for teachers and students alike
